The Wrexham FC DSA’s aim is to act as a link between Wrexham Football Club and its disabled fan-base. WFC DSA will represent all disabled supporters and will provide representation for disabled fans to address concerns and problems directly relating to their match day experiences.
Their first Annual General Meeting took place on Thursday 31st January 2013 in the 1873 Suite. There, disabled fans heard presentations from Anna Marie Brown from Glyndwr University and Lee Jones from the Racecourse Community Foundation (RCF). Disabled supporters then carried unanimously the group’s guiding principles and constitution. It was also agreed by the majority that membership would remain free until at least June 2014. The management committee membership was voted on and all 8 members that stood for election were unanimously voted onto the committee.
A competition to design the DSA’s logo is now open, with a closing date of the 20th February. The winner will be decided by the new management committee. Further details are available from the DSA blog on the Wrexham Supporters Trust website and contact details can be found below.
