The Women’s Game Survey

Level Playing Field launched its first-of-its-kind survey to seek the views and opinions of disabled match-going fans who attend women's football.

Women’s football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK. With the England national team’s success, it’s only gotten bigger!

The Women’s Super League has seen attendance increase by 200%, and the average attendances in the Women’s Championship are up by 85%. since England’s triumph at Euro 2022.

Owain Davies, Chief Executive of Level Playing Field:

“Level Playing Field is the leading disability fan advocacy charity in England and Wales, and as that leading figure is correct that we seek the views and opinions of disabled fans who are attending women’s football.

As one of the fasting growing sports in not only the UK but Europe, it’s essential that as it grows, it takes disability access and inclusion with it.

The results from this first-of-a-kind survey will give us a clearer understanding of disabled fans’ experiences attending one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK. Provide information on what’s working and what needs improving to make sure that attending women’s football is for everyone, not for the selected few.

I encourage all fans who attend women’s football to participate and help create an inclusive match day for all.”

The survey will run for eight weeks, closing on the 7th of April, and can be conducted by clicking the link below.
