The FA and BACA are delivering coach development days

The FA are working in partnership with BACA (The Black and Asian coaches Association) to deliver two events, the first of which will take place next Sunday 4 March at Brighton & Hove Albion’s new training complex and the next on Saturday 23 June at Sporting Khalsa FC near Wolverhampton.

They also plan to deliver events in Manchester and Bristol later on this year.  The events are coach development days with a focus on developing/attracting diverse coaches, which includes BAME, female and coaches with a disability.

The event is open for all and the FA are looking to promote the event for any interested disabled coaches.

See below the link to the booking page:

The event will also count for FA Coach License CPD hours.

The event will be from 10am – 4.30pm (a detailed schedule will be sent out this week to all attendees) and free refreshments will be provided including lunch (all dietary needs will be catered for).

It is essential though that anyone attending books via the above link, partly because of tight security but also because of any accessibility or dietary needs.

BACA Day at Sporting Khalsa FC, Saturday 23 June

The second in this series of events will take place at Sporting Khalsa FC near Wolverhampton on Saturday 23 June and again we will be looking to fill the event with diverse coaches especially from those groups. The event will again be free, refreshments and lunch will be provided and it will count for FA Coach License CPD hours. The booking link for that event is here and we would again encourage you to forward it on to anyone you think might be interested:
