What is it:
The Technology4Good Awards recognise organisations and individuals who use digital technology to improve the lives of others. The awards celebrate the hard work that these people put into making the world a better place.
Who is involved?:
The awards were created by Disability Action Alliance Member AbilityNet with the help of BT and a number of businesses, charities and non-for-profit partners and sponsors.
Who can apply:
Technology4Good Awards 2014 is looking for the individuals and companies that are leading the way in using technology for good. Whether that’s someone giving up their time to volunteer, or a nationwide programme giving access to training programmes for thousands of people. Here are the nine awards categories that you will be able to nominate your favourite charity, organisation or individual.

- IT Volunteer of the Year Award

- People’s Award
- Young People’s Award
Nominations opened on the 4th March 2014.Can I apply?:
Entry is open to any charity, business, individual, social enterprise, school, college, university or any other public body with as base in the UK. You can nominate yourself or anyone else for as many Awards as you like.
