Level Playing Field (LPF) conducted a survey asking supporters to vote for their top away-day experience across the Premier League, EFL, and the National League, with the home of MK Dons earning the most selections.
To present the Club with an award, Chief Executive of LPF Owain Davies will be attending the home opener with Sheffield Wednesday. The presentation will take place at half-time.
LPF have shared some of the comments from the survey relating to Stadium MK…
“My experience at MK Dons was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they went out of their way to help. No problem getting an audio commentary set, and I’m pretty sure (can’t remember for certain), that a steward came to me and checked everything was ok. All the stewards seem to be disabled aware and offered help as and when necessary. Great day out” – Jo Pascoe
“The first time I attended your stadium was for a LPF meeting, after which we had a tour of the disabled facility, in which I can say its 100% brilliant.
“The second time I attended was for a MK Dons v Portsmouth, I needed to make contact with the club to arrange a disabled parking spot, which was dealt with very quickly and followed up with a conformation email.
“My tickets and seat number were right down the front with a lot of steps to climb up and down, being ambulant I find steps very hard to do, I spoke to one of the stewards regarding my position, this person was very polite very understanding, he the steward found me new seats with only a few steps. Each time I have been back, I have found your club/stewards fantastic and very helpful” – Dave Banbury
“I chose MK Dons for a number of reasons.
“The fact that the supporters coach could park reasonably close to the away supporters entrance, how friendly the stewards were and how helpful they were, the accessible toilets, and the steps were accessible (what I mean by that is at some stadiums, steps can be very steep, can be slippery) whereas at MK dons stewards offered support if required.
” I just wish all clubs responded as well as MK dons” – Donna Whittaker
