Newport County AFC and Newport County AFC DSA supported Weeks of Action #OurMatchday with a number of activities at their home match against Luton Town on 17th March.
The DSA and club invited representatives from Thrive, a charity based in Cardiff that works with young disabled people and their families. Only one of the children attending had been to a professional sports event before. A Level Playing Field banner was also displayed at the match.
This was then followed up in the match programme against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 24th of March which included a piece by Newport DSA Chair Colin Faulkner which you can read here.
The club and DSA have since launched their new video ‘A day in the Life’ which shows some of the activities which took place at the Luton match and the great work of the DSA. You can watch the video below.
