Level Playing Field’s new website for disabled fans.

Level Playing Field has a new look with our brand new website.

After lengthy consultation with disabled supporters across the country, Level Playing Field have developed a website for disabled fans. Providing information for disabled fans is crucially important, so they can appropriately plan their journey. Level Playing Field’s staff have been working tirelessly to get all the relevant information from football clubs up and down the country. Level Playing Field want their new website to be a bank of information for disabled supporters.

In the coming weeks we will be working with Rugby and Cricket clubs to provide similar relevant and up to date information on their accessible features.

Disabled supporters can now enjoy a website that is easy to use which will provide them with an opportunity to share their match day experiences. Level Playing Field want supporters to be able to share what club’s around the country are doing well and what they can improve on.

Level Playing Field want to amplify the efforts that the Disabled Supporters Associations (DSA’s) go to in an attempt to make the game more accessible to everyone. The new website will go a long way to doing this, and making sure that the DSA’s have a way of encouraging more disabled supporters to take part in live sport.

Chair of the Level Playing Field board Tony Taylor is very excited about the new website.

He said:

“Our new website has been far more than a simple redesign exercise.  We have taken on board comments from our membership and have consulted widely with stakeholders, individuals as well as other interested parties to ensure that disabled supporters can always engage positively with Level Playing Field.

We are conscious that our work aligns to the needs of disabled supporters, not just in football, but other sports too.  Our new website will provide disabled supporters and their companions with a range of up to date information that they need to plan their match day experience.”

Level Playing Field want you to contribute to the new website. Have you been to a match recently, please help more disabled supporters by reviewing your experience, here and ensuring we achieve an equal experience for all.
