Level Playing Field are delighted to announce the 12th Weeks of Action campaign, taking place from the 4th – 19th March 2017.
Now an established date in the sporting calendar, Weeks of Action were established in 2005 to help highlight the positive initiatives undertaken by clubs, sporting venues and their governing bodies in partnership with disabled sports fans and disabled supporters associations (DSAs).
Theme
This year’s Weeks of Action theme is all about leading and inspiring change. We are celebrating the ‘Game Changers’ who make a difference to the enjoyment and experience of disabled sports fans.
We want to shine a light on the people and organisations that make a difference to the lives of disabled people who attend, or would like to attend sporting venues, and we will be using this year’s campaign to promote the people and initiatives that make access and inclusion a reality for disabled sports fans.
Get involved
As ever, we are calling on clubs, DSAs, disabled fans and their advocates, partner organisations and anyone with an interest in access and inclusion to get involved by hosting or participating in a Weeks of Action event or activity.
