GDPR Consent
The law is changing and Level Playing Field is preparing to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the new data protection law coming into force on the 25th May 2018. To comply with these regulations, we need you to opt in to receive emails and newsletters from Level Playing Field.
As of the 25th May 2018, Level Playing Field will require permission from all of its contacts and members to use their information for the purpose of receiving our newsletter and relevant emails.
The main information Level Playing Field will retain is name and email addresses, although on occasion some members and individuals will have their phone numbers and addresses saved. In order for us to use and keep this information, we will require your explicit permission.
Unfortunately, this does mean that any member, supporter or recipient of Level Playing Field’s newsletter who does not consent to the use of their personal information being saved and used by Level Playing Field will be removed from our mailing and contact list.
For you to continue receiving Level Playing Field’s newsletter you should email info@levelplayingfield.org.uk to provide your consent.
Under the new GDPR regulations, we are required to protect all personal information from any potential data breach. We will do this by:
• Not sharing any personal information with any other organisation and all information saved by Level Playing Field will be solely used by Level Playing Field.
• All newsletters and mail-outs will be sent in a secure format protecting all personal data information held.
We look forward to hearing from you and for your continued support. Of course, if you have any additional questions please do get in touch.
