Manchester United and Spain international midfielder Juan Mata made a young disabled fan’s day after his goal had given United 3 points at Norwich on Saturday.
Alex Nield, a wheelchair user and massive Manchester United fan had travelled to Carrow Road to watch United play, and after the final whistle as the players made their way to salute the travelling fans, Mata spotted Alex and posed for photos with him, in full view of the live TV cameras.

Alex, who has a fascination with the number 8, has Juan Mata’s name on the back of his shirt and counts him as one of his favourite players was delighted when Mata was alerted by Memphis Depay that he was trying to get the Spaniard’s attention. Mata spoke briefly with Alex and his dad Jon, and agreed to a brilliant photo opportunity.
We hope Alex enjoyed his trip to Carrow Road and his photo with Juan Mata.
