Despite costing £14.5 billion of public money, Crossrail will not be fully accessible.
Do you agree that this is not fair?
If so, then join ‘Transport for All’ on Thursday 29th August at 11.30am, outside Crossrail’s offices in Canary Wharf, (east exit of Canary Wharf Station map here) to urge Government to make this ‘once in a generation’ brand new transport link fully accessible to all disabled and older people.
Come along, and welcome the Paralympic Legacy torchbearers who will have travelled along the Crossrail route flying the flame for a Crossrail we can ALL use.
There will be speakers, music, campaigners from across London, all compered by fabulous performer Mik Scarlet!
Following the action, many of the attendees will be travelling to City Hall (by Tube) for the pan-London mobility forum. This will be hosted by Val Shawcross AM, chair of the London Assembly Transport committee and will be a chance to share ideas and discuss transport access issues. Please do register with ‘Transport for All’ if you would like to attend. Email: contactus@transportforall.org.uk
