Online abuse had been a focus for the contributors to Level Playing Field’s ‘Unite For Access’ campaign film.
The charity’s Patron, Roy Hodgson, launched the full film, in which those featured share more about their personal experiences.
Focus on this area follows year-on-year rises in disability abuse as a barrier to attending live sport, as revealed in the 2024 Level Playing Field Annual Fan Survey results.
This year’s campaign film spotlights disabled supporters of different Premier League and EFL clubs, alongside a Dedicated Football Officer and Level Playing Field’s Head of Fan Engagement & Supporter Services.
