Anxiety and mental health specialist, Claire Henson, has been confirmed as a guest speaker for the Level Playing Field Midlands Forum.
The event will be held at Worcestershire County Cricket Club on February 4 and offers an opportunity for disabled fans, club staff and other key stakeholders to come together for a day focused on accessibility.
There is still time to register for the regional forum and further details can be found here.
Previously an EDI Manager at Nottingham Forest Community Trust, Henson, will share from her personal experiences in a sporting context and vast knowledge across a range of sectors.
Henson said: “I am really looking forward to speaking with everyone at the forum, as we dig deeper into the relationship between accessibility and anxiety.
“There is so much to consider when we think about live sporting events and so bringing supporters and staff together for these discussions will be of huge benefit.
“There is so much which we can learn from lived experiences, and we have a fantastic opportunity to learn from each other at this forum.”
