Football Content Awards 2024 finalists feature Level Playing Field

Level Playing Field is pleased to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Football Content Awards for the second successive year, in the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Award – Organisation category.

Voting is now open on the Football Content Awards website and closes at midnight on Sunday 13 October.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Awards for organisations and individuals were both first introduced as new categories last year, with the awards themselves originally founded in 2012.

Level Playing Field have been recognised for the charity’s use of it’s online presence and content promoted through wider networks in advocacy on behalf of disabled sports fans.

Specifically within football, the 2024 ‘Unite For Access’ campaign saw the strongest ever engagement from Premier League and EFL clubs. At the heart of that was a launch film which spotlighted non-visible disabilities and was showcased both online and at grounds across England and Wales.

Level Playing Field has been nominated alongside BCOMS, Bootle Bucks Inclusion, Fulham Lillies, GayGooners, Her Game Too, Kick It Out, Sporting Equals Striver, This Fan Girl and Women in Football. Full details of finalists across all categories can be found here.

Voting is open to everyone on the Football Content Awards website, so fans are encouraged to share the opportunity before the Sunday 13 October deadline.
