Our members are always at the heart of what we do. Their shared passion for sport and equality really drives us to influence long term change and improve the spectator experience for all disabled fans.

We offer a range of memberships. These are available to anyone who wishes to support and follow the work we do to ‘promote good access for all fans’ at sports venues across England and Wales.

Member benefits

  • Regular newsletter communication to keep up-to-date with all the latest Level Playing Field news specific to your membership type
    • Fans newsletter – Focuses on the matchday experience from a fan’s perspective. Newsletters will share interviews and experiences of disabled fans and their matchday experiences along with other relevant news stories.
    • DSA newsletter – Focuses on supporting DSA growth and development by sharing best practice case studies from other DSAs.  There will also be guidance and ‘how-to’ guides shared also.
    • Clubs, Governing Body and Other Organisations newsletter – Shares good practices that clubs, governing bodies and organisations do to enhance access and inclusion. Newsletters will include club case studies, interviews, and advice around how your club could improve accessibility for your disabled sports fans.
  • Access to independent, expert advice and guidance on access and inclusion issues
  • Opportunity to feedback on Access and Inclusion through Level Playing Field’s annual survey
  • Invites to take part in Level Playing Field events such as our annual Weeks of Action and regional/national forums

Feedback

Every year we will share a national survey that will review fans experience. Specifically, we will be wanting to hear from fans, clubs and DSAs on how we can enhance and improve the standards of access and inclusion for disabled fans. This feedback will allow Level Playing Field to shape its work and drive greater change.

Please note:

  • For DSA and Club Membership there will be one designated lead contact along with three other named members as a part of the offer. Please see relevant membership form for more information.
  • It is possible for DSA and Club members to sign up as an individual ‘Fan Member’. This will allow you to receive the fan focused news letter in addition to your existing membership benefits. to sign up to both please mark ‘YES’ on the ‘Fans membership’ column in either the DSA or Club membership form.

How to join

It’s simple. Just download a membership form, fill it in and send it back to us together with a donation if you wish.

There are three quick and easy ways to pay:

BACS payment: Please email info@levelplayingfield.org.uk and we will be happy to provide you with our payment details.

Cheque: Please make cheques payable to ‘Level Playing Field’. Please clearly put your name and ‘LPF Membership’ on the back of the cheque as a reference. Please send to Level Playing Field, The Junction, Station Road, Watford, WD17 1ET.

Just Giving: Payments can be made via www.justgiving.com/levelplayingfield. Please clearly state your name and that the donation is for ‘LPF Membership’ in the comments box.

Membership is open to anyone who wishes to join LPF. There are three membership types available:

Yes. Membership is automatically renewed. Members will receive a reminder of their membership renewal shortly before it is due to expire.

Members can unsubscribe at any time.

Yes. An electronic signature is acceptable if returning your membership form by email.

If you would like to donate for your membership this can be done in three ways.

Our preferred method is via online BACS payment, but we happily accept cheques sent by post or online payments via our Just Giving page.
