Our members are always at the heart of what we do. Their shared passion for sport and equality really drives us to influence long term change and improve the spectator experience for all disabled fans.

Members can be individual fans, or do so from their disabled supporters’ association, club, venue, or other organisation. They support and follow the work we do to ‘promote good access for all fans’ at sports venues across England and Wales.

Member benefits

Receive regular newsletter communication to keep up-to-date with all the latest Level Playing Field news. You can reach out directly to staff at the charity for expert advice and guidance on access and inclusion matters and have opportunities to feedback on the work of Level Playing Field.

Members often receive early invites to Level Playing Field events, such as our regional and national and online forums, which provide great opportunities to network with other disabled fans, fan groups and industry professionals.

Feedback

Every year we will share a national survey that will review fans’ experiences. This provides crucial data on how to improve the standards of access and inclusion for disabled fans. This feedback allows Level Playing Field to shape its work and drive greater change.

Please complete the relevant form below, depending on whether you are joining as an individual fans, disabled supporters’ association, or club/other organisation.

Membership forms

*All membership is free of charge, however, if you would like to donate we would recommend a £5 voluntary individual donation, £15-£30 for disabled supporters’ associations and £50-£80 for clubs and other organisations.

Please note:

  • For DSA and Club Membership there will be one designated lead contact along with three other named members as a part of the offer. Please see relevant membership form for more information.
  • It is possible for DSA and Club members to sign up as an individual ‘Fan Member’. This will allow you to receive the fan focused news letter in addition to your existing membership benefits. to sign up to both please mark ‘YES’ on the ‘Fans membership’ column in either the DSA or Club membership form.

How to join

It’s simple. Just download a membership form, fill it in and send it back to us together with a donation if you wish, or get in touch for any assistance joining.

How to Donate

There are three quick and easy ways to pay:

BACS payment: Please email info@levelplayingfield.org.uk and we will be happy to provide you with our payment details.

Cheque: Please make cheques payable to ‘Level Playing Field’. Please clearly put your name and ‘LPF Membership’ on the back of the cheque as a reference. Please send to Level Playing Field, The Junction, Station Road, Watford, WD17 1ET.

Just Giving: Payments can be made via www.justgiving.com/levelplayingfield. Please clearly state your name and that the donation is for ‘LPF Membership’ in the comments box.

Frequently asked questions

Membership is open to anyone who wishes to join LPF. There are three membership types available:

  • Fan’s membership
  • DSA membership
  • Club, Governing Body and other Organisation membership

There are a host of benefits to becoming a Level Playing Field member. These include:

The Level Playing Field membership year runs from 1 August – 31 July and renews automatically, unless otherwise requested.

Yes. Membership is automatically renewed. Members can unsubscribe at any time.

Yes. An electronic signature is acceptable if returning your membership form by email.

If you would like to donate for your membership this can be done in three ways.

Our preferred method is via online BACS payment, but we happily accept cheques sent by post or online payments via our Just Giving page.
