Weeks of Action 2017: Introducing ‘Access for all: A game-changing experience’
Level Playing Field are delighted to launch the 12th Annual Weeks of Action campaign, where sports clubs, disabled supporters associations (DSAs), partners, fans and their advocates will join together to celebrate the ‘Game Changers’.
Between the 4th and 19th of March, there will be an array of matchday and non-matchday activities hosted by clubs, venues and DSAs that shine a light on the good work that is done to improve the enjoyment and experience of disabled sports fans. This is a chance to send a positive message of access and inclusion, to help remove barriers that disabled people still face, and to celebrate diversity and inclusion for all.
Celebrating the 'Game Changers'
This year’s Weeks of Action theme is all about leading and inspiring change. We are celebrating the ‘Game Changers’ who make a difference to the enjoyment and experience of disabled sports fans.
We want to shine a light on the people and organisations that make a difference to the lives of disabled people who attend, or would like to attend sporting venues, and we will be using this year’s campaign to promote the people and initiatives that make access and inclusion a reality for disabled sports fans.
Introducing ‘Access for all: A game-changing experience’
The FA has joined forces with the EFL and Level Playing Field to produce a short documentary on accessibility within football stadia.
The film shines a light on the game-changing solutions that can be implemented at sports stadia that can make a huge difference to the lives of disabled sports fans. Enjoy the documentary below:
