UEFA Champions League Final 2013 ticket sales launched

Ticket sales for the 2013 UEFA Champions League Final start on Monday 11 February at 12.00CET exclusively via UEFA.com, and will run until Friday 15 March at 18.00CET.

As usual, fans and the general public are allocated the majority of the tickets for the final, which will be played at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday 25 May at 19.45 local time (20.45CET). A total of 59,000 tickets of the net stadium capacity of 86,000 are available to fans and the general public, with the two finalist teams receiving 25,000 tickets each, and the remaining 9,000 tickets available for sale to fans worldwide via UEFA.com.

For the sales process on UEFA.com, tickets will not be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with a lottery being conducted to determine the allocation of tickets once the sales period has ended. The remaining tickets are allocated to the local organising committee, national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters, and to serve the corporate hospitality programme, also now available via UEFA.com.

When compared to the last Wembley final in 2011, Category 4 tickets, which were previously only available to the two finalist clubs, will now also be available to the general public and will be more affordable than before. Comprising 20% of the total tickets available, these tickets will now be priced at £60 each. In addition, administration costs have also been substantially reduced. UEFA has also maintained the youth package concept which was introduced in 2011. This comprises 200 paired tickets available to 200 children, each accompanied by an adult. The two finalist clubs will also each receive 100 such youth packages. In setting ticket prices for this year’s final, UEFA consulted closely with the independent Football Supporters Europe network (FSE).

The ticket categories available for the general public are: Category 1: £330, Category 2: £230, Category 3: £140, Category 4: £60, Disabled category: £60 (ticket priced at Category 4 rate and one companion ticket provided for free), Youth package category: £120 (two Category 2 tickets – one adult and one youth – sold at discounted Category 4 rate).

The administration fee per shipment covers handling and safe courier delivery of ticket(s) and is priced at £8 within the United Kingdom, £16 inside Europe and £28 for the rest of the world. Payment can be made by credit card only.

Applicants can apply for up to two tickets per person. They will be informed via email by Monday 8 April whether their application has been successful or not. They will also be able to check the status of their application on the ticket portal with their log-in information after this date. Tickets will be shipped by the end of April by secure mail.

Ticketing Terms and Conditions

All ticket holders are bound by the ticketing terms and conditions and UEFA will take action in case of any breaches. Online applications will be verified with the competent authorities to ensure that anyone banned from attending football matches cannot purchase the tickets. Sales of tickets for the 2013 UEFA Champions League Final will be conducted exclusively on UEFA.com. UEFA urges all football fans to refrain from purchasing tickets or hospitality packages from unauthorised sellers, agents or websites, as such tickets may be counterfeit or invalid and an unaware purchaser may be refused admission to the stadium.
