LPF attend South West Disabled Fans Experience Forum

On Thursday 13th October, Bristol City FC hosted the fifth South West Disabled Fans Experience Forum (SWDFEF).

SWDFEF was established by David Munn and Nick Saunders to provide a medium where individual DSAs and club representatives can network and share best practise.

LPF was pleased to be invited to attend and General Manager, Ruth Hopkins provided an update on LPFs background and current activities. Working Together Project Coordinator, Kieran Reynolds then presented an update on the project and the work he is doing to establish new DSAs and regional forums.

Ruth Hopkins said, “We were delighted to be invited to this year’s SWDFEF event. This forum was the first of its kind and has continued to grow. We congratulate the organisers and wish them every success for the future”.

Kieran Reynolds said, “It was a pleasure to be asked present at SWDFEF again and I would like to congratulate Bristol City for hosting a wonderful event. It was pleasing to see DSAs, clubs and other stakeholders continue to network and share best practice with each other. We have recently established forums for Wales and the South Coast and are looking to establish forums in other regions as we believe they help improve the match day experience for all disabled fans”.
