Level Playing Field backs Non-League Day 2015

This Saturday (10.10.15) football supporters will be out in force for Non-League Day, the annual event that celebrates the semi-professional and grassroots game, which returns for its 6th consecutive season.

The event, planned every year to coincide with a break in the Premier League and Championship calendar, is a fantastic opportunity for fans to get out and watch their local team and we are encouraging disabled fans to go and watch their Non-League team this Saturday.

At LPF we are passionate about Non-League football and have recently featured the fantastic work of Non-League clubs such as Wrexham and Tranmere Rovers who have shown a fantastic commitment to access and inclusion for disabled fans.

Non-League Day isn’t about supporting just another team, it’s about supporting grassroots football which will ensure the foundations of the game stay strong into the future. Non-League Day is also a celebration of the diversity, passion and commitment that makes football in this country so popular and enduring to all fans alike.

You can find a game in your area by using the Non-League Day match finder

We’d love to hear from you about your Non-League Day experience, and encourage you to tweet us using hashtag #united4access, or by leaving a fan comment on our club pages which can be found under the ‘Clubs / Venues’ tab. If there isn’t a club page for the team you went to see, you can email us at info@levelplayingfield.org.uk

Enjoy Non-League Day!
