Invictus Games – London 2014

The inaugural Invictus Games are currently taking place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London.

Over 400 competitors from 13 nations compete in the international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women. Teams come from the armed forces of nations that have served alongside each other. The athletes have all undergone life changing events while on active service.

Using the power of sport to inspire recovery, support, rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for those who serve their country.

The games are being championed by Prince Harry and the events run from 10th to 14th September.
