Cymru DSA wants you!

Keep an eye out for the Cymru DSA’s flyer at home games vs Spain and Denmark.

This year has seen the successful launch of Cymru DSA. Cymru DSA is set up to represent disabled supporters of the Welsh National Team. The group has representatives from a variety of clubs across England and Wales. The disabled supporters group is one of the first in international football.

The group works tirelessly to make sure that away games are accessible for disabled supporters. By working with the Centre of Access for Football in Europe and the national governing bodies across the world the group are going to ensure that disabled Welsh supporters get first class treatment at home and abroad.

Development Officer at Level Playing Field, Neal Hickey gave his support to the group “Cymru DSA has taken great shape over the past few months. The group members have a plethora of expertise which is sure to contribute positively towards disabled supporters’ experience. We are hoping that this group can work to emphasise the importance of good access across Europe whilst representing fans’ experience at home.”

If you are interested in getting involved in the group please reach out to Neal Hickey from Level Playing Field on  01923 545 370 or email chair of the group Phill Davies on phillf4j62@gmail.com.
