Celebrity Masterchef
This year Danny will be one of the 16 celebrity contestants fighting it out to become Celebrity Masterchef 2012. Danny has always been a keen chef and over the coming weeks will attempt to out Shine the competition and boil, fry, bake, stir and chop his way to win the coveted title. The programme will be screened every night on BBC2 at 6:30pm.
The challenge!
Since the loss of their son Archie ten years ago, Danny and his wife have been loyal supporters of Shine. Staff from the charity were there for the Mills family through the challenges of such a difficult experience.
It is now 10 years since the family lost Archie and, as a Patron of Shine, Danny will be completing the first Archie Mills Memorial Challenge. The Challenge involves two parts. The first will see Danny cycle 220 miles from Leeds2London on Saturday 22nd September. Then, the following day, Danny will take on the Olympic Plus distance of the Virgin Active London Triathlon, swimming 1.5km, cycling 90km and running 10km!
