Arsenal host first London Regional Forum

On 8th November 2017, Arsenal FC hosted the first London Regional Forum at the Emirates Stadium.

The forum was organised by Level Playing Field (LPF) with support from Arsenal FC and Arsenal Disabled Supporters Association (DSA).

The objective of the forum is to provide a medium where individual DSAs and club representatives can network and share experiences and best practise. There were presentations from Level Playing Field, Arsenal FC, Arsenal DSA and Arsenal Community Foundation.

The London Regional Forum is the fourth regional forum to be established as part of LPF’s Working Together project.

A copy of the forum summary can be found here.

LPF Projects Coordinator Kieran Reynolds said, “I would like to thank Arsenal and Arsenal DSA for hosting a wonderful event. We were pleased that so many clubs and DSAs represented at the first London Regional Forum and we were delighted it was so positively received.

LPF General Manager Ruth Hopkins said, “The regional DSA forums are becoming increasingly popular and we are delighted to be involved in setting them up across England and Wales. The London Forum is the latest one and we are very grateful to Arsenal FC and Arsenal DSA for hosting the event. We were pleased to see so many clubs and DSAs represented and the opportunity to share experiences. Thank you to everyone who participated and for the positive feedback we have received. We look forward to another London Forum next year”.
