Level Playing Field Around the Grounds

A number of clubs have already been in contact with us to let us know what they are planning for this years two weeks of action.  If you would like your clubs events to be added to the list below please contact Jackie Newing by emailing info@nads.org.uk.

Blackburn Rovers FC will be placing an article in their programme on 19th March and on their website.  They have various activites planned fcor matches after 19th March so watch this space for an update on what they will be doing.

Cardiff City FC will had a young fan who uses a wheelchair as mascot for their match on Saturday 5th March.  Also look out in the coming weeks for their updated webpage for disabled supporters. 

Dagenham & Redbridge FC - Promoted the LPF at their match on 8th March.  An article highlighting the weeks of action and pieces written by their disabled fans were featured in their Community news on page 51 of the programme. One of their regular fans who is disabled was a mascots, also featured in the programme.  A local youth club for young disabled people attended the match as guests for the evening.  One of the youth club leaders is a disabled young man who is a Dagenham & Redbridge FC season ticket holder.  The club recently supported him in an application to become one of the community Channels community Champions and he was one of 10 people selected nationally to be recognised as such.

Doncaster Rovers FC will be promoting the Level Playing Field on 19th March.

Exeter City DSA have placed supporting material on their website which can be viewed by going to http://sites.google.com/site/ecfcdsa/.

MK Dons FC are currently planning an Ability Counts Big Day for their match against Huddersfield on Friday 22nd April.  A press release for the event is being prepared and will be posted on the website once it is ready.

Newcastle United FC ran a disability football event on Sunday 13th February.

Queens Park Rangers FC are promoting the Level Playing Field at their home matches on 4th and 18th April.  Details can be found on their website by clicking on http://www.qpr.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10373~2312425,00.html

Stockport County FC will be promoting the LPF at their match on 26th March against Southend United.  At the game they will also be presenting a cheque for £700 to the Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society. 

Swindon Town FC are running a disability Saturday Team Club for disabled football teams in Wiltshire on Saturday 12th March vs Dagenham. The group will be spending all day at the County Ground where they will receive a ground tour, coaching, lunch and tickets to the game.

Wigan Athletic FC are showcasing the Never Watch Alone Initiative which with the final events taking place at their home game on 19th March.

Other clubs that have told us they are planning something include Northampton Town, Liverpool, Plymouth Argyle, Tottenham Hotspur, Oldham Athletic and Burton Albion.  As and when we receive more details the website will be updated.
