LPF seeks a Researcher for a Pilot study on NWAI

Submitted on Tuesday 19 July 2011 by Jackie Newing

Level Playing Field is currently seeking a part-time Researcher to take forward the excellent work of the Never Watch Alone Initiative (NWAI) based in Wigan.

The NWAI currently partners up football and rugby fans with a learning difficulty to a “buddy”. The buddy attends matches with the fan as a friend/fellow supporter rather than being their “carer”.

The successful candidate will be required to build a business plan or framework to roll out the project nationally via a Pilot Study.

This is a one year part-time post based at home. The exact details of salary and when the hours will be worked and how many will be required for the role will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Level Playing Field Chair and be responsible to the Board of Trustees and will also work closely with the LPF Development Officer.
