International Paralympic Day - 8 September 2011

London 2012 are excited to be hosting International Paralympic Day on Thursday 8 September 2011 in Trafalgar Square and are delighted to invite people to join them on the day.

Join hosts Rick Edwards, Ade Adepitan and Iwan Thomas to celebrate elite Paralympic sport and:• Watch the Paralympic gold medallist 'Blade Runner' Oscar Pistorius in action in front of the National Gallery

• Find out about each of the 20 sports at the Paralympic Games, with demonstrations including Wheelchair Basketball, Powerlifting and Wheelchair Rugby
• Meet top UK and international Paralympic athletes and see them in action.
• Witness a Guinness World Record moment for Sitting Volleyball
• Find out about buying Paralympic Games tickets, which go on sale from September 9
