The final Level Playing Field Fan Awards presentation took place last weekend at Meadow Lane, the home of Notts County FC. Magpies supporter Albert Boseley was presented with the Volunteer Award for his exceptional work for the Lifeline collection.
The presentation was made at half time during the Notts County vs MK Dons match on the 21st of January 2012. Albert was joined by Level Playing Field trustees Janet Ireland and Christine Peacock, our new Amabssador June Wratten and Notts County Director Aileen Trew.

92-year-old Albert began supporting the club back in the 1920's, and has collected for Lifeline for many years. Lifeline is a collection service that then pumps money back into the club and many charitable causes. In nominating Albert, Notts County Community Liaison Officer Matt Lawson said, "Albert is an inspiration. He is a wonderful volunteer and deserves huge recognition. A true Notts County legend".
We couldn't agree more, congratulations Albert!
Now seems like a good time to remind you that the nominations window for this season's Level Playing Field Fans Awards is now open.
